Hi i pierced my freezer whilst getting rid of the ice. Can i turn the fridge back on?
It is one of these fridges that has a small freezer compartment. I dont really mind the freezer no longer working i have another one but what i do need is the fridge. Could i plug it back in? its just that when that high pressured air was coming out from where i pierced it i disconnected the whole unit. Please help me....

Sorry, that wasnt air but freon.brbrYou can plug it back it but it wont work. Freon is especially dangerous to breath if it somehow burns.brbrOnce the system is opened to the air, it draws moisture and rust sets in in the key components, eventually.brbrYoull probably need to buy a new fridge. In the future, try to defrost in other ways.
