No one needs meat! Thats how come we have vegetarians! Substitute the meat you eat with beans, Hummus, Legumes, or soy products. This should give you all the protein you need.brbr Just quitting meat will not make you lose weight. You need to avoid the over processed starches. White breads and sweet cakes are your worst enemy. I know that stopping meat is not the answer because I have been a vegetarian for over years now and I am just as fat now as I was then, and I am a BIG girl. I havent lost a pound in years. I tend to give into the starchy foods though and that is why I havent lost weight
