Ive been doing it that way for years now. Just make sure you get a cell package with enough minutes. I have Cingular and have anytime minutes and free nights and weekends. It works out great for me. As long as you dont have dial up internet and need a land line to connect you should be all good. Its so much cheaper than using a land line.
